Ice can be applied prior to treatment; however, treatment is usually tolerated very well by most people and minimal discomfort is experienced. Treatment is relatively quick, generally taking only 5-15 minutes to perform.
You can resume normal activities straight after treatment. Some people may have some small red bumps for 5-15 minutes post treatment, or some people may end up with a little bruising.
We advise patients to not undertake strenuous exercise for 12 hours after treatment, and no facials or face massages for 2 weeks afterwards.
